My power door locks are possessed

I am a new BMW owner and a new member here. I searched for a related thread, but didn't find anything like this. Please tell me someone has experienced this.

I bought a 2005 325i four months ago. After about a month of ownership my door locks started wigging out on me. The keyless entry didn't pop up the buttons. After several minutes of trying it did pop them up, but the doors wouldn't open! I and a friend pulled on the handles and they just wouldn't open. Finally they did open. It was bizarre. The next time all the doors would open, except the driver door (I had to climb in the back seat to open the driver door by the inside handle). This happened a few times over a few weeks. Another time I popped open the driver's door without a problem, got in and pushed the button on the center console to unlock the rest of the doors and nothing happened. Again I had to manually open the doors from the inside handle. It doesn't happen all the time. About once a week one of these things will occur. I am taking my new baby in to get this repaired, but I just bet they won't be able to recreate the problem. So I am looking for other people who may have experienced this. Maybe someone out there has resolved this problem? Sorry for the long winded details. It is just too weird.

It's under warranty. The dealer already knows what the problem is. Just take it in. It's under warranty

Re: My power door locks are possessed

Thanks. I did take it in and they did replace something; the Drivers Door Latch. I then went out of town for 2 weeks so I haven't ample time to tell if it is truley fixed. I'll be convinvced in a few more weeks. Thanks again.
