rear brake cylinder?

I havent done a brake job on my crown vic so I am alittle confused here, I went to get rear brakes for my 2000 crown vic and the guy said what kind of a rear brake cylinder do I have?? I had two choices but I cant remember but he said I would have to take out my brake pads to be able to tell but he didnt elaborate how I will be able to tell was wondering if anyone here knows what kind of rear brake cylinder I have or how I can find out. thanks alot

Re: rear brake cylinder?

You have rear disc brakes. You do not have a brake cylinder. There are calipers on the rear.
