1993 jimmy fuel problem
I'm the proud owner of a 93 gmc jimmy. Unfortunatly, it's not running right. It starts up fine, but if you push the accelerator down very fast it wants to die. Like it's starving for fuel. Pump kicks on fine, though I haven't checked the pressure yet. I've changed the tps sensor. No help. Codes show nothing. I've cleaned the butterfly valve, didn't help. I pulled the plentiom or whatever off and everything looks normal. No smell of gas, just a little black. The cpi and nut kit I belive have been changed by a previous owner. Egr Looks great. If I feather the foot feed I will run as fast as I need to go but you can't drive it normal. I starting to get very fustrated. I tried just about everything I can think of short of taking it to a real mechanic. Please help.

Re: 1993 jimmy fuel problem
First thing I would do is check the pressure... Next change the gas filter, check all vac hoses. Have you done a tune up? (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, any of these can cause your symptoms) Pull your ignition module under the cap and have it tested...
I would suspect though a general tuneup would cure your problems...
