This won't help you much, but a vaccume leak would cause all that.

It'll most likely be a pretty big one too.


If the troubele started after the new brake booster your problem is probably related.

vehicle was miss diagnosed by a now past employee. it has a new fuel spider,new ign. module. fuel pump. dist.cap,rotor,7.5mm plug wires,a/c delco plugs.pulled intake.when new fuel spider intake was boiled(?also new egr valve) replaced pretty much all vacuum lines under the hood, also cked tranny,plugged off line to dash, vehicle was brought to me after another tech had his way with her.could it be the ECM. this other tech (so called) put anew cat and 02s......BUT did he DISCOnnect the groundwire (battery to frame/body0 ..This blazer ran tops for 6.5daysafter I installed i replaced the brake booster. no codes in memory but the light is ON(scanner is a genuses/mentor is 2years old. just installed the update last week. no apperant vac. leaks???????????????????????????thanks OverBoardProject ready to play again

Love to play again.

But I don't know what it could be. I'm still old school, and the only computers that I really know how to deal with are the ones that I can type on.

Sounds like you've had your share of miss diagnosis for that one.

It might not be your past employees fault, so I hope that you didn't let him go just over that 1 Blazer. (unless he's a real winner)

I hope that the customer isn't overly upset.

If the brake pedal is hard and you have a miss then you do have a vacuum leak at the brake booster
at idle with the scan tool what is the o2 readings ??
they switching rich and lean?? what year ,engine what if any are the missfire readings, give all scaner readings.
