3INCH lowering kit

Does anyone kno where i could get a 3inch front a rear lowering kit for around 100$? and does anyone have a kit that they would like to get off there hands for cheap? i would consider a 4 inch to but notheing less then a 3inch

good luck, they dont come cheep, i bought mine used from my cousin for half of what he payed for it, and i still dropped 3 bills on it, i did go lower then you want to, but still, for quality, you wont get a correct kit for anywhere near a hundred bucks, you need shocks, spindles, and blocks at the minimum

My buddy has a s-10 with 3 inch drop he thought about sellin to me for 100$ its a belltech kit. He wanted to get air bags in the winter but he might have changed his mind.

and that would be different then getting one from a stranger or a new kit, i mean like i said for a kit that was less then two years old i payed 300 bucks, which was only half of what cousin payed

Hey man i just put a 3 inch ground force kit on my 97 s-10 and it cost me $138 bucks. that is for just the springs and blocks plus u-bolts. the kit has worked out great for me

3'' doesnt require drop shocks, anything more then that does...

Bullshit, you do need drop shocks for a 3 inch drop i just put one on my truck and my stock springs which were new by the way bottomed out everywhere and the driver side one busted within 1 month of putting the drop on. So my advice pay 80 bucks for the front drop shocks you will be glad you did trust me.

alright dumbass, i did put them all the way around and payed 138. And i dont give a shit what you do. I gaurantee i have been doing this longer than you have. so dont start shit. you lose 3 inches of suspension travel when you lower your truck that much. and your stock shocks cant handle it. everyone i know who has lowered there trucks 3 inches has had to put drop shocks on because it busted their stock ones. try it yourself and see how it rides. f***ing amatuers

you do not neccesarily need drop shocks on the back because there is not as much weight. but if you just want to do the front they are just 80 bucks.

only amatures do all that work for 3 inches... who gives a shit how long youve done it for? doesnt mean youve done it right yet. and seince your so smart and thought of it all, how short did you have your drive shaft cut? or are you just letting it cram between the tranny and yolk?? i was never saying to continue to put stock shock onto the truck, put drops on once needed, being yours is a 97, its probibly ready for its second set of shocks anywayse, specally if your from the rust belt

buddy with a body dropped truck 3 inches is plenty and the drive shaft was made custom from kustom karz in california. and just put new shocks on my truck 3 months ago. done arguing with ya

This is also going to put your driveshaft angles way out of line. The chevy s-10 is has a notoriously troublesome driveline because of the double cardan joints that cannot be lubricated. I replaced these on my truck and they crapped out on me about a year later.

I took the whole driveshaft to a local driveline shop and they built me a custom driveshaft for 300 dollars, with easily removable U-joints, etc.

There is a website, JTR.com (JTR = Jags that Run) which sells a kit which will help put your driveline straight, especially with it being lowered. It consists of machined metal pieces which fit under your tranny mount, center bearing mount and rear axle spring mounts.

Just thought I would toss this into the mix..

Spivey I do agree with you. With "springs" you do need the drop shocks. But if you have spindles or control arms you can use factory shocks.
