Sudden noise from motor. Help!
I own a 96 prelude vtec. After driving around town for a while, i parked my car to run to get a friend. I left my car on and as i was walking back to it, a very loud and ugly noise was coming from the motor. Since i couldnt stand the noise i killed it first and let it sit for a couple of minutes. I then tried to start it again and the motor was having a hard time turning over. After four or five tries it turned over and contiuned to make the bad noise. the noise is coming from the motor itself, around the cam gear area. I think it may be my timing belt or something of that nature. Any ideas with what is wrong would help out a lot.
