ok im doin a b16 swap in a 89 si hatchback.
heres a list of what i got 1)b16a motor an tranny with lsd 2)axles but no half shaft yet 3)shift linkage 4)pr3 ecu now where can i get sum info on this swap wiht like pix an stuff? an what else will i need? |

sounds like you got it pretty good with the exception that you have to run about 4 wires for vtec.

As for the site search google. That's what I did, I just don't remember which ones I used though. A few things that will make life easier. If you don't have the old engine out, get an 8mm punch for the "bitch pin" that holds the shift linkage to the tranny - will save you lots of trouble. When you put your old wiring harness on the B16 make sure you do everything right the first time. check it over and over. It will again save alot of trouble. Vtec is easy to wire. there are numerous sites. I cut off my front tranny mount bracket and had to cut a chunk out of the rear crossmember to stop the mount from touching. don't forget to bash the driver side shock tower in. Also I would recommend doing the timing belt, water pump, clutch as it is much easier out of the car than in it.
