STUPID!! know how to take apart a door?

just recently i made the stupid mistake of locking my keys in my trunk, now just shut up it is to possible. Then i made an even more stupid mistake by having one of my friend's parents help unlock my car so i can get into the trunk. Her weapon of choice was the yard stick, and before that a cloths hanger. Through out the jiggleing, slideing, and knocking they caught what ever it was they were trying to get and kept 'sliping' (or in other words the mechanisim broke and there's nothing to push, grab, what ever). The good news was i did eventually get my keys cutisy of my girlfriend's brother, who brought his Car Lock pick kit (which bought only because it looked cool), and we got the door open.

But now i want to fix my lock so i don't have to keep goign to the passenger side to unlock it (the remote is missing in god who knows where). i've gotten as far as taken my door off the hinges once before, when i was experimenting, but i'm a little worried about screwing up the door's interior when i try to dismantle it, so if any of you know how to break it down and get to the mechanisim (and maybe fix the mechanisim) instructions/advice/references would be great.

Re: STUPID!! know how to take apart a door?

1) remove the screw from the middle of the bezel behind the door handle - remove door handle
2) remove the reflector at the bottom of the door - remove screw underneath
3) remove screw at base of pull-collumn in recessed hole
4) pop out switch panels, remove screw underneath
5) remove tweeter speaker by squeezing / pulling
6) work way around edge of door, pulling outward. The breaking sound is the christmas tree fasteners pulling out; you're not actually breaking anything
7) reassemble in reverse order.
