no sugestions???
My trany is driving me nuts. It won't stop leaking, like she's always on the rag. I've done everything but rebuild, and she only leaks when I haven't driven her for over a day, hence... the longer she sits, the more she leaks. When we changed out the gaskets, front and back, the trany came down about half foot on the pan. Could I have bent the pan? I've retightened the ban bolts on one side a couple times now. Any coments would be great.

Re: 86 442... trany leaking
I have had and know several people with the same problem. I am assuming you have the 200R-4 trans that came with your 442. Excellent transmission with a few mods but every one that I have seen leaks. You can buy cast aluminum (rigid) pans that work well for around $400. Check out the Grand National Web Sites. They share the same trans.
