Peeling by the window controls
Has anyone else had this problem? By the controls on my driver door, all of the rubbery finish is all peeling off. I guess I need to take this to the dealer, but I'm curious if its an issue with anyone else.

peeling
Yes it started there, expect all such parts to start to peel, like that plastic around the silver part on the shifter and ashtray. Slowly but shurely you got that everywhere.

Its a common problem because vw used a rubber like compound to cover the trim pannel pieces. It is usually covered under warranty depending how old your car is. It happens on all vw's accept touareg/ phaeton.

Re: Peeling by the window controls
I pulled all the plastic pieces off and sanded them down and repainted them with some special paint that was close to the factory color.
