Question New and Confused

HI
I just bought a 81 280ZX turbo, and I am having trouble with the key and ignition. The ignition is pointing to "lock" and when I stick the key in it wont turn. Is ther some button or way to turn it to start it? I know it a simple thing but it's still hurting my head. Thanx

Red face Starting the ZX

You need to try to turn the key and then wiggle the steering wheel back and forth with your other hand. The wheel lock sometimes gets stuck and prevents the key from being turned.
