CLK Cabriolet

Does CLK Cabriolet have hard top or soft top?

I love this car, but soft top is terrible for car like CLK Cabrio. Are there any modifications with hard top (AMG etc)?

Re: CLK Cabriolet

It comes with an automatic folding soft top and as far as I know mercedes doesn't offer a hard top.

The CLK Cabriolet only comes in a soft top. There are no modifications that I know of to make it a hardtop convertible. You can buy a hard top CLK but it won't be a convertible.

Dude, you got that much money? Think about it. If the company is doing it right, they're gonna get the parts from a newer SL, cuz the components for a soft top couldn't possibly handle the weight leveraging necessary on a hardtop. That means rewiring and replumbing the car as well as reengineering. I'm thinking maybe 40 k, 1/2 up front, maybe 2 or 3 months to do the job.
