How much would it cost to do a motor swap ?

How much would it cost to do a 1.8 to a 4g63 turbo swap ? I have a talon 1.8 now and want to do a swap. I'm going to let a pro do it but I was wondering how much is ths gonna cost. what all do u have to do?

its gonna cost a lot. do you have the engine already. I believe its gonna cost you likle 1500 to 2000, you are better off buying a car with the engine already in it.

Well, at least in this case the motor bolts right in. I know many poeple have done the swap, so it can't be that hard. You can get good compression ~100k mile long blocks from local DSMers around here for ~800 bucks. There must be some kind of a vfaq or parts list somewhere, try tooners.

judging by your posts you probably don't knwo what "tooners" is. it's a website called www.dsmtuners.com and it's one of the best websites out there that deals with dsm's. also look on the vfaq for a parts list like kevin noted. http://www.vfaq.com/

those 2 websites should give you most of the answers to any questions you have about your dsm.
