New GT-R in sports car racing

Will the new GT-R be entered by the factory in sports car racing in North America?

Re: New GT-R in sports car racing

Probably some form of Le Mans. If I remember right, the FIA and JGTC decided to integrate their classes and specs. The JGTC cars will now be able to tear it up along with C6Rs, M3 GTRs DB9Rs, etc in Europe.

I do wonder what will happen inside the JGTC once the GT-R is launched. Will the Fairlady Z remain the GT500 machine of choice, or will the GT-R take over, relegating the Z to GT300 class only?
