Door Panel Removal

I have a '98 E-150 w/power windows. I would like to remove the front driver & passenger door panels to replace the factory radio speakers with new upgraded speakers. I have tryed to remove the door panels (found and removed 3 screws toward the top of panel), but they don't seem to want to come off. I don't want to force them to the breaking point.

Can anyone tell me in detail how to get these #^%* panels off.

Thanks

the door panels have kind like hook things in them,,if you pull straight up on the door panel with all the screws out then it will lift up and out ,,it hooks into the door and then you push down for it to secure to the door
dont pull staight out on it or you will break the plastic hook or arms off and it will not hold tight to the door anymore

Thanks Jim. You're absolutly correct.

It turns out I missed one screw on the bottom of the door panel--that was preventing me from budging it. My bad.

I appreciate you taking the time.
