whats the governerd top speed? in 1995

i got this new 95 and i do not want to attemp finding out where the factory preset gover is so could anyone tell me where's its set its a blazer sport 2 door 4.3 vortec 'w' code, automatic witht the 4x4 and what else are common troble spots for the 95 blazer? other then the egr wicth i replaced today and whats the max. towing capticty with the class 3 hicth installed?

i believe thats right, 97-98. On a 95 4.3 CPI that is the fuel cut off. My friend did a top speed run in his 95 2dr. he hit 97-98 with his foot to the floor, hitting fuel cut off, and he could not accelerate again until he slowed to 80.

slowed to 80? thats whack. and to answer your question, watch that spider injector. They have a tendency to go bad, and 3 cylinders wont get enough fuel and 3 will get too much. Also since your 95 is a vortec, the fuel pressure is very high, the pumps are prone to have problems on these. Make sure there is very little fuel restriction and replace your fuel filter regularily.

cpi units go bad every 5-7 years. fuel pressure should be 58-62psi at idle.

if it hits 98 will it contue going 98 or slow down to 80 then go 98 again?

you will feel it it kinda cuts out and wont let you go any faster.

when u hit 98, that is fuel cutoff. once u slow to 80, fuel will be reintroduced and u can accelerate again
