92-95 altezza question, check it out plz

yea ill probably take some abuse from this, but whatever, plz try and help:

i have a 94 2dr. civic, bought the skyline/generation 3 tails for it. hooked them up a lil bit ago and for some reason, the red circles on the actual trunk don't light up, the lights came with a harness for the trunk ones, but it only holds 1 bulb and it appears on the back of the actual tails like it needs two bulbs. the bulbs light up, but only in reverse. their is also the bulb #'s listed on the back of these tails, on the first hole it reads #1156 (which is currently in the harness now) and on the bttm hole, #1157. now to me, it looks like it needs the 1157 bulb b/c it has the two filaments in it, where 1156 only has the one. but the 1157 bulb does not fit in the harness. was i sent the wrong harness or whats the deal? anybody got these tails or could shed some light here i would really appreciate it, thanks.

ok im not sure if we are talkin bout the same ones, cuz i think 3rd gens are supposed to light up in the trunk piece. i had 2nd generation sky-line altezzas and they had a red ring in the trunk pieces and two red circles in the corner pieces. i know for a fact that those cannot light up both pieces at one time (unless you want your reverse lights on). dont the 3rd gens have half of the red ring colored in for lighting tho? this is what i would do:

disconnect the wires and use your stock ones. that way you'll have two bulbs on each side. then just put the right bulb in the right spot. send me a pic of your altezzas and i be able to help ya for sure, cuz im not sure im talkin bout the right model right now.

and ya, some people might yack at ya for havin altezzas cuz they are "ricey" but its your car and if you like them, go for it. i personally think some altezzas look tite as hell, just not most of the time, or esp when its the only mod

i dont think the red circles are suppeosed to light up. have u seen these lights where the circle lights up. cuz i dont have the same ones but they have half a red light circle and the other half is the reverse light. only my reverse lights lights up and the other red part doesnt. the only part that lights up on mine is the pars not connected to the trunk.

of course just becasue there is one bulb does not mean that it takes 2 bulbs to lights up both things. i mean it is only a colored plate that makes it turn red not a whole other bulb. i really dont know now. maybe it is broken. just a guess.
