Window Motor Died..Help

I have a 98 Trans am and my window motor died i think..i was rolling down my window and it just stoped...when i press the button i hear a very slight click sound inside the door..i was curious is this the motor or something else? Also is there anyway i could get my window up manually? I live in florida and the past few days its been raining like crazy...of course perfect timing lol...thx for any input

could have broke gear or knocked it off track but most likely you fried the motor. They are very commen failure wise, Autozone sells a higher quality replacement with a lifetime warranty for around 70 bucks. Its a bit of a pain to swap but I have some online instructions for it , if your planning on doing it yourself.

If the motor is turning when you push the button but no window movement the plastic gear may be broken inside. You should check this first by opening up the motor and if chewed up you can get a replacement gear.
