Engine flutters in top on load

I have an automatic 306 which starts and runs perfectly, however as an example when acelerating in top gear from a roundabout it fluffs as though its missing or firing on three, it soon picks up though, would it be plugs or something more sinister

An OBD II system will throw a code!
If it's a consistant misfire on a single cylinder, or random misfires.

Thanks for the advice Daniel, I will get the system checked as I do not know if it is the same cylinder each time
