Re: lsd tranny

look around www.hmotorsonline.com for tranny, and if u dont find one give them a call and ask them what u want im sure theyll help you out with what u need. and yes lsd would be worth it if u car is autocrossed or draged race frequently. if its for mainly daily driver car then mayb it isnt worth it so much.
and wes got the rims thanxs alot ,tires are shit, lol, but im getting falken ziex-512s in about 2 hours good doing business.

Re: lsd tranny

I believe he's asking, how he can tell if the tranny has LSD or doesn't. Also how he can tell if an tranny is from a b16a, and not from another engine. And if LSD is worth buying.

You can tell by looking into the center of the transmission, you'll be able to see all the way through if it has LSD.

I don't know how to tell the difference between trannys. Just buy from a reputable company and you'll know for sure.

If you buy a good LSD, you'll be able to tell a difference. But if you go with a cheap one, it won't do shit for you. So unless you're buying the stock d15b vtec LSD tranny for $450, then don't waste your $ on an LSD that cheap. Something like those Phantom Grip LSD's are garbage. My friend has one on his car and he still always has the 1-wheel peel. And LSD doesn't help with acceleration, it helps with traction (more traction you have, the more you are able to accelerate off the line or around corners). It helps you get your preexisting power to the ground.

If you get it, make sure it's the d-series transmission (just making sure that you know).

Re: lsd tranny

God I'm still confused

And Snowey, good to hear. I actually gave you one of the wheels off my car, when we were packaging the wheels up, I was inspecting them a bit closer, and found one with a slight bend in the lip.

So I took it out of your lot, and gave you one of mine. Hope they work well for you
