No air

Hi,

Before I take it to the dealer @ $90 per hour, I figured someone might have an idea.

I have no air coming out at all, be it hot or cold air.
The fan/blower does not come on but when I turn the dial (0 -4 for amount of air) but sometimes I can feel the engine 'bog' down a bit. So I'm not sure if it's electircal, the blower?

Certainly I can handle no cool air in the summer but I must fix it before the winter.

Thanks for any ideas
Barry

Re: No air

Check the fuses. It sounds like the compressor may be coming on, so you could just have a blown fan fuse. Could also be a bad fan switch or blower motor.

Hi,

I've checked the fuses and all is ok. A mechanic said the blower motor is ok and mentioned that it is probably the fan switch or the 'head' so he will need to take the dashboard apart.

Is there documentation or a manual that you can point me at that will aid me in removing the middle piece of the dash?

Thanks,
Barry
