1991 JIMMY 4X4 Transmission
I have decided to rebuild my transmission myself.First I need to identify if its a 700r4 or other.Second if decided,what other transmission can I put in its place.Third the difficulty rating.

1) It is a 700R4(4L60) 2)You really don't have a choice, unless of course, you are willing to do some modifying 3) a good tranny manual, patience, and a good, CLEAN, working area, about a 7 out of 10. This is based on having no hoist, and working in a garage. If you take your time, and follow the manual, its very doable.
