Ebay Turbo Kits ok?
Ive REALLY been thinking seriously about going turbo. money is an issue. i have seen full turbo kits on ebay for 1500 dollars...they seem fine...and use brand name turbines...anyone tried these? or know anyone that has? cuz im dying to go turbo. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo...75388852QQrdZ1

I know a guy here buy one for his teg off of ebay. It made is car go good without problems that i know of but he took it off. Im not sure why he did.

That is not quite a complete kit. Your missing the intercooler, FMU, boost controller (if you want one), bigger injectors if you want over 7psi of boost, tunable ECU if you want reliability, otherwise you will want some kind of ignition management system.
That's still quite a bit of stuff to buy. I think it's better to piece the parts together over time. That way you don't have to shell out 1.5k all at once and you have a better chance of getting good, reliable parts. |
