Question rb25 manual trans problem

ive had my enging in for about two months and for the past 2 days it has had trouble shifting in to second and third gear at high rpm. its not the clutch and the trans fluid is fine. also im going to drain the fluid to see if theres any thing in there but need to know what type of tranny flud it uses and how much??? so if any one has any ideas or at least what fluid and how much.. thanks

Synchos sound like they are shot. By far the weakest link in the Skyline's drive train.


Use Red Line Light Weight Shockproof. I had some crunching in trans, I went to that stuff.....No more crunching.

Question

not the problem any more.... i think its worse and more frequent now. when shifting from first to second and second to third at high rpm when i engage the clutch it makes a grinding noise and continues to make it until i let off. it wont do it at really low rpm. it is also leaking a little from the seal where the trans and drive shaft meet.... cant figure it out and its an odd noise.
