Talking Quited my job, feels great

So I had a massive bitch after a shocking night at work about 2 months ago in the stress release forum and said to everyone that I'm going job hunting, well I did.

I printed off 15 resume's and copied my reference and RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and handed it in to 15 places.

There is a Trade Union Club about 10 min drive that's huge and my Grand Father's best friend is senior director then so dad and him had a lil' chat, and I put my resume in about 3 weeks ago, got a call two tuesdays ago for an interview, blitzed it got the job start next Tuesday omg!

So I went up to work (dumbinos) on Tuesday 2 hours before my shift and said I quit, and they were liek "wtf mate" and i waz liek "STFU N00B!" and walked out pwnt

Ahh.. I ordered Dumbinos tonight too, haha, I got cheap shit too, all the comps were down so Blake the d00d I used to work with gave me a ton of shit for free Fucking Owned [my boss].

Ahh Carlton Draught You never let me down

Re: Quited my job, feels great

NICE! i quit earlier this summer just because my boss was a total dick, i also just quit another job, well i guess the 2nd one is in progress, the reason for is because they dont give me any hours, so i just stopped showing up, whenever my next hours are they'll finally figure out that i left.

My dad is my boss, I still don't know what the hell he employs me to do, but eh, he's the one giving me $15 an hour to do nothing for 8 hours on end.

Re: Quited my job, feels great

I thought it was just quit not quited or quitted...

I quit (present/past), had quit (past participle), was going to quit (imperfect), would like to quit (conditional), will quit (future), will have quit (future perfect)

Awesome. It's really satisfying to quit a job like that... Done it twice. Once when I worked at blockbuster video, went in for my morning shift, called the GM, told him what a tool he was, then told the store manager that she was a self absorbed wench and walked. Didn't have a job lined up in advance, but it was totally worth it.

A while prior to working at Blockbuster, I worked at a bakery. They had hired me to be an assistant manager, but wouldn't you know, they started me out washing dishes... On my 4th day of work, still washing dishes, I slacked off all shift and let all the dishes pile up really really bad. Then at about 7 at night, I just walked out the back door, got in my car and left. Went back a week later to get my paycheck, they were still pissed.

Yep, last Saturday was my last night at Sonic. I walked in and worked the entire shift. I was supposed to open the next day (6am, but theres no way in hell I'm going to get off the night before at 12:45 after closing and wake up at 5:00 or so not even 5 hours later... This was the last straw). So right after I clocked out I was like "This place sucks... I quit."

The manager that I was closing with thought I was joking.

The manager opening the next day yelled at the closing manager for not letting her know I quit. ROFL!

I'm jobless for now, but I can't really have one, I'm in a votech program at school, and a job fair is going to be Tuesday, hopefully I'll look good to the service managers at either Hall Pontiac/Hummer/GMC or Checkered Flag Chevrolet
