Lumina APV HELP!!!!!

My 1994 Lumina APV, will not start. It has been running just fine up until today. When I try to start it the starter attempts to start the vehicle and the serpentine belt turns all the pulleys, everything sounds normal except for the vehicle just doesn't start. It has the 3.8 liter v6 and has been solid transportation for 176,000 miles. If anyone has any idea what this could be, I would greatly appreciate any help. I am moderately mechanically inclined and can perform most repairs myself if I know what I'm going after.

Re: Lumina APV HELP!!!!!

My 94 lumina apv (220,000 miles) did the same thing. Took it to repair shop he put in new timming chain, cam sensor, still wouldn't crank sometime. Took it to another mech. change crank shaft sensor, ignition switch, still wouldn't crank sometimes. After about $1000 spent finally changed the ecm and it runs like a new one. Hope this helps!
