clutch differences

Is there any difference in the clutches for a DX and EX Sedan?

My DX is an 89....The reason I'm asking is because my clutch is going and I am probly going to need a new one before I can afford to do my engine swap and when I do the engine swap I am putting an EX transmission in....If the clutches are the same I will just get a good clutch now and swap it over, and if they are different I will get a cheap one when mine goes and a good one later.

I don't have the EX tranny yet....I'm going to get it when I do my engine swap....I know the '88 models have either one more or one less spline than the '89-'91, but I want to know if there is any difference in the clutch itself from a DX and EX....like are they different sizes or anything?

I heard the EX and Si trannies are almost the same, except that the EX has a longer final drive gear.....I dunno if it's true or not, but it would be nice to get the little extra gas mileage on roadtrips from school.....If I can't find a good EX tranny I will just get an Si.

When i had my d16a6 i had pretty good gas mileage! From where i live to Green Bay (3hrs away) it took half a tank to get there!
