A handful of art.

Hey people. I don't know if any of you remember me, but I thought I'd drop by and show you some work that I have been doing over the past year. Not much has changed, I just haven't had a ton of drawng time. Here are three completely different drawings. Enjoy:

The first will be a Mclaren F1 that I had drawn when I was 15, so that's last summer. Reference picture from an issue of EVO (best auto mag, go out and buy one, you'll see). Took about 6 hours, the normal shading procedure from every other photo-realism drawing out there.

Here's a quick marker sketch I had drawn last week I think. I started with a Micron02 pen for persepctive and basics, followed by a Micron08 for more concrete decisions and then what you see, a Prisma Black marker for finalizing everything. I overdid it with the black, but that's okay, you get the general idea.

And last is a marker sketch of a "pimp" car that I had thought up. Similar to that custon Morgan Aero Coupe, or the Maybach Exelero. Long nose, big motor, plush interior and a lot of exclusivity. I love the design (it still needs some tweaking, I'm working on it every day) and I'm pretty proud of the rendering on this. I would've added a tiny bit of colour, but I only had the Cool Greys with me at the time. The final versions won't have these spoky wheels, most likely large 5-spokes similar to mid-90s Mercedes cars, but with more relief.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'm pretty bored these days and I could help out with almost anything.

Re: A handful of art.

good job on those man, I'm loving the first two especially! I like the way you shaded the second...markers are tough to work with in my limited experience.
