trapped air
1982 camaro 350 i just put in a brand new crate motor, can anyone tell me the best way to bleed air out of my motor and radiator (system) i just cannot get the air out. its running a little hot. thanks

when i first fired mine i left the radiator cap off then left it only on the first click (or half turn) so it doesn't pressurize. Just keep it topped off and drive it for a couple days with the cap only on the first position. It won't hurt anything to drive it like this so leave it like that till you are convinced it's all out. If your radiator is always full when you check it or if your overflow tank is always the same then it's all out. Mine was all bled the first time the thermostat opened so if you think its running hot I wouldn't point the finger at trapped air.
