63 Impala 2n1
HEre are some pics of my 63 impala. the paint is dupicolor colour changing paint. it goes from purple to gold to green. pics dont do it justice. hard to photograph the effect. Its the 2n1 kit that you can build as a lowrider. Im building it stock. might try to shoe horn a a 427 bigblock under the hood. Inetrior will probably charcoal grey with some blackor white accents.this now makes 4 painted car bodies on the go....need to start finishing some. but the painting is getting fu. my skill is getting better so I just want to keep painting.
you can see the gold on the trunk and green on the front fender ![]() top view....i love the purple. shame its not sunnier up here ![]()

Re: 63 Impala 2n1
looks good so far. I have also done a chrome-illusion paint job before. It was on a 99 civic. But you won't realize the full color changing effect until you wetsand it and polish it. I was amazed at the difference it makes.

Thanks for the compliments. I cleared it last nite, so now i have to wetsand the clear and give it another coat and then sand and polish it. the clear makes it look really nice. so I cant wait to sand and polish it so it really shines and glistens

heres a few pics out in the sun. unfortunately the sun makes the metallic go wacko. In person it looks way better, you the body lines on the car on drastic enough to see the color change in the pic
Sorry for all the pics Im just excited, hope you all enjoy them as much as I have ![]() ![]()

Re: 63 Impala 2n1
looks great. I think that this color demands it to be built as a lowrider. A flip flop paint job only looks right on a '63 if it's sitting on triple gold D's. Ya feel me?
