Question 99' Lumina LTZ CD player

Hi all ... I have a 99' Lumina and the CD player all of a sudden stopped working. When I put a CD in, it sits in there for about 4-5 seconds and then the display says "ERR" and spits the CD back out. I've tried putting in a CD cleaner disk, but it does the same thing to that disk as it does with the regular CD's. I'm going crazy without my CD's and we have 2 radio stations here, neither is anything you can listen to. I hope someone can help me, thank you!

Re: 99' Lumina LTZ CD player

get some canned air, and try to blow it out, dont tip the air can upside down, as it will freeze anything instantly, just try to lightly blow out the innerworkings of the cd player. It sometimes works, sometimes doesnt. then try to stick in your cleaning CD.
