Question solenoid valve where?

got a 88 civic, keeps blowing fuse labeled Alternator,solenoid valve,
Pulled main wires off alt. run to see If fuse blew it did, wondering wear valve is , and any thoughts, it does run but only short time before fuse blows

hrm.. solenoid valve... you can pry look that up in a Haynes manual, which would give you the wiring diagram from that car and you can just follow it back to the "solenoid valve"...

I'm not really sure what else that fuse runs either.

is it the fuse under the hood or under the dash. is your car auto or manual?
