Katrina and our members

Not exactly street racing, I know, but...

Anyone watching the news by now knows about what has happened in New Orleans yesterday. I'm watching it on the news right now, and there is massive flooding and they have declared martial law. Now, I know we have some members from Louisianna (I believe Vip09 is, dunno about any others), and that some of you may not be religious, but I would just ask that you keep any of our LA members, New Orleans or not, in your prayers, thoughts, or whatever. I just got off the phone with all my freinds who go to school at Loyola and Touliane, and they all said they bugged out Sunday, but cant find out from anyone how bad the damage was.

Robs71Nova is right smack in the middle of it all.

I talk to him on AIM, hope he's doing good.

Re: Katrina and our members

This is by far the worst catastrophe I've ever seen. I've been steadily watching CNN for the last 24 hours it seems and the damage the hurricane has done is just mind boggling. I have a bro who had a farm/house in Biloxi, he got out before the hurricane hit and we're still waiting to hear if he still has anything left.

My prayers go out to anyone in the middle of this. Over 1 million homeless... This is insane.
