Exclamation WTB 1993 and up Mazda RX-7 w/ NO/BLOWN engine!!!

Hello out there. I am dying to buy a 1993-up Mazda RX-7 with no engine or a blown engine and a good transmission setup, the transmission doesnt have to be perfedct. I dont care about body damage either. My reasoning is I want to build the engine by myself, I just got done taking to years of classes at a friends performance shop in Charlotte, NC and I want to use my skills. Also the body work is because I am installing a wide body kit anyways so the body condition isnt that important. All that i really need is a good frame/suspension with good windows, good doors, and a decent interior. Let me know what you guys have. A good chance to get rid of your wrecked RX-7!

Well since you dont already know that the 3rd gen ONLY came in standard then you shodul already be looking at buying anothere car.
I hope your friends class/shop taught you how to properly work on rotaries. There not as easy as they sound.
Start with pistons and work your way up:P

Sorry

Sorry for the confusion, I actually am aware of that but if you look at some of the other forums I posted, I posted one for a Toyota Supra as well. All I did was copy and paste it and change the name of the cars. I am actually hoping to start 3 projects with a BMW E46 3 series coupe, 1993-1998 Toyota Supra, and 3rd Gen RX-7. I just got finished with my first car, a 1998 Honda Prelude, but didnt know the engine part of it because I hadnt taken the class yet. I already fully molded a body kit onto it so it is too late to perform engine modifications for risk of messing up the body kit. So yes sorry for the confusion I do realize that all 3rd gen RX-7's are Manual I just got lazy with the post. Thanks

ok :P I was kinda worried there. You must be loaded to the tits to be trying to pick up a MK IV supra 3rd gen Rx7 and a E46. To top that off mod them all out.
Stick to a supra or the BMW unless you spent alot of time in that class learning about rotary engines.

Hey Snuffolufogous13,
Still looking for an FD? I have one that is having engine problems or maybe the turbo, anyway, I getting very low compression-very little power, but otherwise the car is beautiful and still in good shape.
Anyway here are some pics and more details. Make an offer. Oh, and BTW, the car is in California right now. http://homepage.mac.com/rx71993/4sale.html
email: [email protected]
(this address an webpage expire Sept 19., hoping to move the car before then anyway)
