i have a 2000 blazer that just unexpectedly quit. it ran fine until i parked it, then when i tried to start it, the fuel pump wouldnt kick on. after sitting overnight, i tried it again and it started right up, until the next time it was parked. i have done all the usual troubleshooting...relays fuses etc
ive have decided upon one of two problems...bad fuel pump(i have the fuel gauge problem..sending unit bad) or the ignition switch. my question is ...the 97's were notorious about the ignition switch..are the 2000's the same? i dont have any of the problems the 97's has..dash lights tranny probs etc it has been an ongoing thing for 3 days now, sometimes the fuel pump kicks on, sometimes it dont. any help would be appreciated. blazerlt, do u have any experience with the 2000's? |

Re: intermittant power to fuel pump
It could very well be the ignition switch but what you may be seeing is a fuel pump about to give out.
