Custom Decals....Need Help

Im building a 69 Mustang Mach 1. It is a replica for a guy in my car club. Here is the dillema. Im using the AMT 1:25 kit. The 1:1 car is acapulco blue with a gold stripe. The kit doesn't supply such a decal. Does anyone here print there own decals? If so, would you be willing to rework the kit decals and print me a set or two? Or does anyone know where I can get some, or who I might be able to contact to get some printed?

Kieth Marks probably has what you're after. Search kmarks999 on eBay. Very nice stuff at a good price.

Why not just paint the gold stripe?

Re: Custom Decals....Need Help

Got a photo of the gold stripe in question?

The Revell kit of the Hertz Mustang has gold stripes.

Re: Custom Decals....Need Help

What about getting a decal of the white stripe and lettering and then painting the gold and then putting the decal in place?

Here is a link to his Fotki page. Doesn't seem to have the '69 Stang but you may find something useable.
