70' 440 4bbl charger

My dads been letting this car rot in our backyard :/
it used to run, but as time goes by, its just wasting away. is there anywhere where you can buy body panels and such so i dont have to go through the trouble of welding on metal and doing bondo-jobs?!?!

btw, the engine doesnt even start..it needs a total overhaul :/

argh..we also threw away a 68 318 charger ..cuz we have too much cars in our yard...why ...why the 68..
why not the stupid 929 with the broken tranny..

the 68 was in better condition then the 440.. less rust, but both were pretty bad..

any ideas?

how much do you think we could sell it for now?

the 440 is stock, btw..

Re: 70' 440 4bbl charger

hm..i dont have any pictures, since its all under tarp..
but..

its propped up on concrete blocks because we need a new tire in the back, the hood is totally rusted through, the engine doesnt start, (if it cranked, im sure it can) the rear glass needs to be reinstalled, and the interior and exterior is shot. the engine should be fine, other then that its frozen. we tried turning the flywheel but that doesnt even workk.

Re: 70' 440 4bbl charger

I don't really know how much you could sell it for living in Hawaii. I can't even imagine the shipping charges. But it sounds as if you have a little project on your hands. Well Ike if you are up to the challenge I think you should just do a total frame off restoration. If you don't want to, find out how much shipping will cost to Ohio I know someone who would like a 440 but he's very thrifty if you catch my drift.
