1995 Mazda B2300 clutch replacement
I have 1995 Mazda B2300 (4x2) with 160k. miles, something is wrong with my clutch (makes strange noise) so i decide to replace it. I bought clutch kit (spent $220) and I would like to do it by myself. How hard it is to do it? And how much it would cost if i would take it to mechanic?
Thanks. |

Re: 1995 Mazda B2300 clutch replacement
Not too hard to change, the lines to the slave cylinder are a pain if you dont have the right tool (cheap at autozone). Pain in the ass to bleed the clutch, pump the pedal really hard and fast and crack the valve while you have someone prying on the pressure plate through the access hole. Keep doing it till it works, I'm sure Ford/Mazda has a proper procedure for doing it, it has a high spot thats hard to get the air out of. There's a trick to the shifter too, you can do it, mechanics are too expensive. Good luck, michael.
