#2 cylinder misfiring 2.0L

Hopefully someone can help me out. I have a 1999 Eclipse 2.0 Chrysler engine automatic. The engine light is throwing a "cylinder #2 misfire" code and I'm not sure what the problem is...the plug/plug wire is fine and I don't think it is the coil pack b/c since 1 coil fires 2 cylinders and only one cylinder code is coming up on the OBD, so I think it's ok. Seems like the only thing left is a clogged injector. Any suggestions? The car misses at an idle and low RPM range; when the RPM's get above 4000 the car is much smoother. The engine light is on all the time, and sometimes it flashes. Any help would be helpful.

Mike

How old are the plugs? Did you physically check to make sure they were gapped correctly? Gap should be set around .04"-.045" for our N/T cars. Sometimes you need to play with it to get them to that spot where they are perfect.

When the light flashes, it's time to take it in to get looked at.
