Question New Italeri Stratos Safari

Has anyone else seen this or purchased it yet? Is it a re-release of an old kit and what's the detail like? is it up to Hasegawa standards, i wonder?

I saw it too in my LHS, couldn't find a parts number or anything that could hitn if it was the hasegawa, aoashima or their own mold.
Maybe esci had a stratos, since italeri loves reissues.

And strangely enough italeri.com (new site, looks better than the old one) doesn't seem to have any info on the model, nor do they know that it exists

Re: New Italeri Stratos Safari

I've mentioned this in another thread but it seems worth repeating. It's an Esci mold and the kit is awful. There is no detail to speak of and the quality of the molded parts is so appaling that this kit is just not worth it.

So you don't like it, then? j/k

well, thank god i didn't pick it up, i'm not too enthousiastic about the esci escort, so if the stratos is worse it would be 17 euro's down the drain for me.
