Lowering my BU
Guys i have a question is there a science to doing this as far as rims and springs .What i mean is I just brought a set of 17'' rims and im going to buy a set of 225/45/17 tires and i was thinking i have to put them on first then lower the body by getting 1.5inch lowering springs .Or can i drop the car first then put the rims on?? is there any way that this could backfire on me if i do one before the other ??

yeah the rims and springs are completely unrelated but be sure to get an alignment after you ge the springs or your tires will not wear properly
