Re: Gauge cluster problem

is it just the bulbs? i'd look them first.
Then look at wiring THEN cluster

Re: Gauge cluster problem

it's more than one bulb.. it's a couple (I wanna say like 10) LEDs. If you say you saw a ploom of smoke, you may well have fried each and every one of them. I would get a new cluster if you can find one cheap and swipe the LEDs/wiring off it.

Re: Gauge cluster problem

Ok heres the problem... LOL, My cluster lights like Break and Engine and that crap work, But the White glow that comes on with my headlights on the cluster and on the AC wont come on. Now i was fucking with the wires that go into the little tanish box behind the digital clock on the back of the gauge cluster... right... well i snipped the 3 wires red, black, and red and black... well ill tell u that there was an out side power source when i blew that fucker up... well long story short i had it wired at one point to where they lights lit up when the head lights or parking lights wernt on and i was like oh shit, wrong wires, well just for stupidity sake i turned on the headlights and Bam, that little box gave forth a cloud of smoke and smelt burnt, and now the lights on the ac and cluster wont work... So im thinking i blew that little transnformer like box. now what i really need to know, and i think its possible, but i need to know if i can swap that box out with a non broke dick one... and id also need to know what that little box would be called so i can find it and replace it asap cuz at night i cant see my speed... lol

To clear it up more its the little box that dims the light brightness and shit....
