Question Installing Overhead console

What needs to be done to install an overhead console in a 95 Blazer. Are there mounting brackets preinstalled under the headliner or what?
If it's a full function display, will the compass and temperature functions work by just supplying power?

Thanks,

Al T.

No, the brackets aren't pre installed, you will have to fab your own...You will need the temp sensor that goes up in the rad support behind the grille, and you will also need to tap into the VSS signal, as well as power, and ground.

I just cut little pieces of wood and inserted them into the roof crossmembers. You can screw your console into them and it works really well.

Make sure you get an "on/off" computer because a "mode" one will not work.

Same question, but does anyone have a wiring schematic. I need to know which wires are for what.
