stuck in park
several random times my car has just got stuck in park. like I can't even move the shifter to go to neutral or drive. The cars an automatic. then out of no where after a while it just randomly lets me take it out of park. ANy suggestions.

Yeah there is a light next to it that looks like a foot or something but how do i get it out.

There is a recall for brake light switch (wx recall 99-02)
