Re: too good to be true?

not totally unreasonable.. its just a coupe.. and it might need some work/basic maintainance.. My first camaros were $900 and $1400

ask some questions about it

I found it browsing autotrader even though I have my sights set on a 98-02 3.8 for now. I definitely don't wanna get stuck with a 5.7's gas and insurance payments through college. I'll be spending all my money and more on the car itself.... so I can't even afford the gas, not to mention insurance jumps from my '97 4 banger

Re: too good to be true?

the cars more than likely got a 305..

does an 87' V8 really cost more to insure than a 98' V6 there? if so.. thats messed up

Re: too good to be true?

no way, a 98-02 v6 is way more than an older iroc or z/28. for me a newer v6 was gonna be like 3500 a year, but an 87 iroc was 2000.

Yeah it's a 305, it's only a 5.0 with 165 HP.

Re: too good to be true?

i maybe wrong here, but either there was a diffrent hood on that car and he put back the stock one or he had an accident and had to get a new one... lol, look at the back towards the t-tops... there are the red stripes down the car... but they dont continue down the hood... maybe he has a half paint job but i doubt it, something is deff up with that.

Re: too good to be true?

To give you an idea of what the insurance jump will be like...

My friend went from a 95 Sentra to a 79 5.0 Mustang GT and it cost him $100 dollars a month. (in florida)
