This is what i need right?

I already have something sorta resembeling this, but i need an aswer REALLY fast, as i want to get it asap and get this fixed.
I just need the drivers side mirror fixed, not the whole assembly, the mirror is cracked, this is what i need right?
Its a 92 RS, not electric controls, this will work right?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...89956231QQrdZ1

Also, how do i get this thing on, not sure how i pop off the front mirror part and get all the cables down inside and everything, i can worry about that later, just need to make sure this is the right piece...

Re: This is what i need right?

If you take the trim piece off the inside interior you will see 3 nuts holding on the mirror assembly to the car. Once you remove it. You will be able to access it from the back and pop it out and yes as long as they are both manual mirror's it will work since they used the same one since 82.

Re: This is what i need right?

awsome, i hope this is what i need, just wrecked into a damn mailbox today backing up, and pretty much trashed the whole side of my car, does anyone also know what those little things on the doors are called, close to the bottom that stick out, they look all aerodynamic and such, i ripped mine pretty much off, dented my door up pretty bad, going to go to the body shop and get the dents out, like to just put a new door thing on (what are they called...) mite as well start searching ebay for one of them also...
My poor baby has been through some tough stuff lately, definatly going to start babying her....

Re: This is what i need right?

I would make sure its not power glass, cause he says it includes wiring?. which to me sounds like it came from a power unit but he could mean the hose.

Re: This is what i need right?

Well, i just bought just the glass, from hawks, just bought the left side, that is what the drivers side is right? a couple minutes again, $19 something for just the glass, this should be just fine... all i have to do is pick the glass pieces off the mount and use the mounting tape that comes with this to put it back on right?

the glass shouldnt have any wires... lol, if it does it might be heated... lol, the glass doesnt move the base moves... lol, the thing you mount the glass to, lol, so any glasswill work it dont matter, but if it comes with wires it might be heated? i donno, but wires or no wires it shouldnt make a diffrence, it should still work none the less.

yes, the glass should be fine, lol, you might wanna try something like dent king... its like 20 bucks and will pull out alot of dents... as far as paying a shop to do it, prices would vary depening on where you are, and how greedy they are. (also would depend on how big the dents are to)
