side airbag light went on and stay there

i have an accord 01 ex. it was fine and everything but after i change my engine oil. in the morning, i started my engine and the side airbag went on and stay there.
does anyone know what is the problem?

Did you disconnect the battery at all? For some reason, when I first disconnected my battery, the SRS light came on. It was something weird about the SRS system not being able to hold a charge. If the car is still under warranty, just bring it back to the dealer, they'll fix it for free.
