Trans/Power switch

Hey,

i have a Cherokee 95. On the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel there is a switch with Trans and Power on it. Any ideas what it does?

cheers
Simon

Re: Trans/Power switch

It regulates the shift points. I Comfort it will not shift as frequently as when in Power. I leave mine in power because it gives me better acceleration and downshifts earlier when passing and climbing hills.

Also, Comfort has better fuel economy... Power shifts at higher RPMS and downshifts quicker when slowing down when coming to lights and such...
