What and where is SPOUT circuit?
C 18 erratic IDM input to processor/SPOUT circuit grounded My '85 Ranger 2.8 liter,2 bbl, automatic 4x4 died suddenly and without warning. No spark, replaced coil no help.Replaced ignition module.Engine starts instantly now but now under load or over 40 mph bucks, skips and spits.Have gotten codes for TP,EVP,HEGO lean system but not wanting to simply relace all sensors and relays don't know what direction to go and I have no clue what SPOUT is.Thinking I should really concentrate on this since a grounded circuit could very well be causing the erratic behaviour. |

I got rid of my '85 Ranger a couple of years ago but I THINK the spout connector is the black wire going to the ignition module. Should have a connector about 6 inches from the module. Not sure, been a long time.
