exhaust system

I have a 1988 Camaro Iroc Z and I want true duel exhaust. I don't have headers yet but will get them soon but Ihave the pipes running into a single outlet into the catylictic converter then running back to the bassani muffler then splitting into dual exits. It sounds really good with not being true dual should i stay with this or switch to true duel.

Re: exhaust system

I personally don't think true duals are worth the extra money (horsepower wise). However, having them does give your car a nice sound.

Re: Re: exhaust system

that is very true but is it possible that they can put a guard over it so it won't damage the pipe.

Re: exhaust system

If you do it you will need to run 2-2.5" pipes at MOST. You will need to carefully calculate it and for the money, effort, and ground clearance you are much better off with a single pipe back

Re: exhaust system

It a pain and it will limit ground clearance.
